「 Dynatech: 30th Anniversary Edition 」 is an unofficial remaster of the original 1992 economy sim for AGA Amiga and MS-DOS, now fully localised in English.

「 The year is 2400 – the resources and real estate of Earth are depleted. Humanity's future needs to be safeguarded through the discovery and settlement of alien planets. The biggest corporations are tasked to manage this colonisation. The largest of them all, a megacorporation by the name of DYNATECH takes care of the delivery of required production infrastructure, building complexes and storage facilities. 」

SCREENSHOTS & FEATURES

Try your hand at the original market-driven economy sandbox either on your own or in cooperative/competitive two player split screen. Enjoy fast paced, menu-driven real time gameplay with no loading screens or interruptions as you set out to build a sustainable market economy alongside 20 fully simulated AI corporations, entirely based on real supply and demand mechanics. Produce and trade in any of 18 wares with interlinked supply chains or build your fleet of specialised freighters to provide logistics, be it to fulfil your own requirements or those of others.

Fully localised in English, including manuals

All in-game text and assets are fully localised in English (AmE spelling conventions). Likewise, an updated digital version of the original manual is provided alongside the downloads. While an official English release was originally planned for 1993, this sadly never materialised.

Bugfixed Amiga AGA release

Among numerous minor bugfixes, Dynatech 30th Anniversary Edition critically fixes an issue with the Amiga AGA version of the game causing the original release to render at half the intended colour precision bit depth. This finally brings the Amiga version fully up to par with the VGA version.

Carefully remastered graphics and UI

Where the AGA/VGA versions were originally more of an afterthought, all art has been carefully remastered to take full advantage of the expanded capabilities; bringing the original designs to new life while maintaining the feel of the original Amiga (ECS) release.

Dev utilities provided in tools section

Relevant documentation as well as the development tool DTgraT used in the creation of the 30th Anniversary Edition (used to extract and package in-game graphics) are freely available in the tools section. Don't expect anything highly polished, tools are published as-is.
